My experience in Dragon Age
What can I say? It’s one of my favorite franchises and world lores.
DA is a series of action role-playing games developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts.
The games take place in a high fantasy setting known as Thedas, which is inhabited by various races such as humans, elves, dwarves, and Qunari (a race of horned giants). Magic is also a fundamental part of the world, and mages are trained in special institutions called Circles.
Back when I played DA: Origins (the first game!) I didn’t enjoy some of the armors, nor the overall brown palette of collors. But I saw myself replaying it multiple times and at some point had to admit that it became one of my favorite games.
I’m a big fan of the multiple-choices approach to moral questions, and how the game handles its ending mechanics and gameplay. More than a decade later I think it’s an iconic epic, dark-fantasy ending in which you feel like there is a big battle and that you’re making a difference in turning the table. I’m keeping things vague for spoiler reasons, but yep, it’s amazing!
As for the other games, I LOVE DA2’s story, setting and characters (the dungeon repetition — not so much!), and Inquisition’s mage’s combat styles felt incredible.
Alistair
Alistair is a major character in the Dragon Age franchise. He is a Grey Warden, a member of an order of elite warriors who are dedicated to protecting Thedas from the threat of the darkspawn. Alistair is one of the companions that the player can recruit in the first Dragon Age game, Dragon Age: Origins, and he also appears in subsequent games in the series.
Alistair is initially introduced as a somewhat naive and bumbling young man who is struggling to come to terms with his role as a Grey Warden. However, as the story progresses, he develops into a more confident and capable leader who is fiercely loyal to his companions and dedicated to the fight against the darkspawn. He also has a dry sense of humor and can provide comic relief in some of the game’s more serious moments.
In Dragon Age: Origins, Alistair is a potential love interest for a female player character, and depending on the player’s choices, he can become the King of Ferelden at the end of the game.

I avoided using red tones for the character’s hair for a silly reason: I played Dragon Age Origins for a long time thinking Alistair was blond (I blame the game’s overall warm brown palette). Then it stuck with me, and only years later I saw more depictions and descriptions of the character showing the red hair.
And for this one I thought about the character removing his gear after a battle. He is wearing a coif under his helmet:
