An old RPG illustration made for a homebrew system based on politics and backstabbing. I cleaned up some of the final art patterns and symbols so they could be used as dividers, frames and miscellaneous text decoration as well.
This illustration can be licensed via my licensing stock art information and buying a license on my Ko-fi shop, or to patrons who’ve donated more than 10 USD overall. You can also buy it for personal use (printing to decorate material for your RPG campaigns, portraits, personal prints).
‘Regicide’ is also available in my INPRNT shop.
I adore drawing in that old engraved, RPG and choose-your-own-adventure art style, so this was a treat.
Software: Photoshop and Blender

The lower left waves and tree can be used as a seamless pattern. They’re based on the moon tarot card and related well with the client’s vision for the setting.

Initially, we explored the idea of a frontal shot, and also an empty throne with a large sword stuck on it, while surrounded by bodies. In the end the client opted for the dead noble option.
