An owl art print. It’s a mixed media drawing of an owl perched on a branch, and a large golden sun behind it. I’ve been pretty much in love with detailed and realistic pencil drawings that incorporate golden leaves as part of the design, and replicated the effect digitally via a round yellow/golden sun.
I started this work planning the composition, shading and globe color using digital thumbnails. Once I picked a composition I moved back to the paper to refine and detail its final version.
