A Leylines landscape card painted for the urban fantasy deckbuilding game Arcana Resurgence. ♥

This serves as a ‘terrain’ or mana type of card.

A wonderful collaboration overall, each AR card has one element or part of the process that became my “favorite”. In this leylines piece I enjoy the heavy textures and soft plein air mood (although the process is far from an actual plein air!)

Software: Krita

Digital illustration of a temperate forest under daylight. The painting has visible brushstrokes and is heavily textured with grass and tree leaves. The tree colors range from bright oranges, to yellows, and pale greens. Wisps of thin, white thread-like energy form a net in the sky, interweaving a group of thick, clean-edged cumulus clouds. A small dark silhouette of a single wolf stands near a tree at the center of the image. Near the bottom corner there is a cyan blue and purple typography logo that reads 'Arcana Resurgence'
A rough painting stage, during the middle-stages of my Leylines card illustration. The trees and grass are blobs of yellow,orange and green brushstrokes. The skies are a single gradient from light violets to a gray-ish darker blue.
