Breetai

The painting above is an older painterly sketch commission of Breetai and a client’s original character. It features a similar blue palette.

The giant character in this piece is our reinterpretation of the known Macross warlord Breetai. We wanted more traditional, ‘handsome guy’ archetype features while keeping iconic designs from the original character.

Small characters (such as the ladies in the above pics) aren’t charged as a full-body character, since they’re usually small in the illustration. This depends on their size in relation to the canvas and composition, resulting in discounts based on a hourly estimate fee, or slashing the extra character fee as a whole.
